Training Schedule (for agencies)
Details of forthcoming 2017 FOI training sessions for agency officers and a calendar of events are provided below.
If you are interested in FOI training please register your interest even if courses are marked as fully booked - further courses will be scheduled based on the level of demand. We have found that the optimum number of attendees is 25 so any registrations completed after the limit is reached will be deferred to a future course. All courses are subject to confirmation and based upon the legislative framework in operation at the time. Session overviews can be found here.
Note 1: Please register your interest in attending workshops/briefings by entering your contact details and selecting the requisite course ID shown in the form at right. Further sessions will be scheduled as needs dictate. If you would like to express your interest in having a regional visit or briefing by OIC staff arranged please 'check' the appropriate ID (RV, FBA or FBP) and after clicking on 'Send' a staff member will get in touch to discuss the necessary arrangements.
Note 2: Being formally registered for any of the above sessions is dependent upon confirmation from this office. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration via email within a couple of days of you submitting your request for training then please contact this office by:

Note 3: If you wish to register your interest in attending a future workshop and none of the currently listed dates are suitable for you please:
- enter your contact details in the panel on the right;
- check 'REG-DWW' for attendance at a future decision maker's forum;
- check 'REG-FCW' for attendance at a future coordinator's workshop;
- enter the 'captcha' code; and
- click 'Send'.
Note 4: Legal practitioners may claim CPD points for attendance at FOI training provided by this office. Check the 'CPD' box in the list above if you are also a legal practitioner who may wish to earn CPD points for attendance. Click here for more details.

The training rooms and facilities at Albert Facey House are wheelchair accessible and all efforts will be made to ensure access is available to our training services when it is hosted externally
